2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing To Get Super Cruise: Exclusive
The 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing will offer the Super Cruise driving assistant. The advanced semi-autonomous driver assist technology is available as a part of the Super Cruise 2 package, which includes Super Cruise and leather-wrapped Super Cruise steering wheel.
It's worth noting that Super Cruise is only available in conjunction with the optional 10-speed automatic transmission, and is not offered with the standard 6-speed manual transmission. In addition to the Super Cruise 2 package, customers must opt for the Driver Assist Package as well as the Parking Package in order to obtain the semi-autonomous driver assist feature. Pricing for Super Cruise on the CT5-V Blackwing has yet to be revealed.
Super Cruise is also available on the "regular" Cadillac CT5 models in Premium Luxury or Sport trims, as well as on the CT5-V. The technology is not offered at al on the base Luxury trim. This has been the case for the preceding model year. However, Super Cruise for the CT5 luxury sedan is currently under constraints as a result of the ongoing global microchip shortage. With that in mind, finding a CT5-V Blackwing equipped with Super Cruise might ultimately prove to be quite the challenge, given that finding a Blackwing is the equivalent of looking for a needle in a haystack, while the constraints related to Super Cruise complicate matters further.

Routing the output rearwards is a standard six-speed manual transmission, while a 10-speed automatic is also on the table.

A 15-speaker AKG stereo is standard, while a high-performance semi-aniline leather front seat setup with lightweight carbon fibre backs, heating, and ventilation is offered. Instrumentation includes a standard 12-inch HD configurable instrument cluster.
